Become a Youth Counselor

Camp Blue Sky relies heavily on our crew of awesome youth volunteers. Youth Counselors are not paid but they play a very important role. Each counselor works with a specific group of children helping them throughout the day. They serve as a leader to their group and are admired by all of the younger children.

The prospective counselor needs to be entering tenth grade or higher.  Their attendance is required at the counselor meeting one week prior to camp. Volunteer hours count towards most programs but the counselor will need to check with the program’s advisor. No art skills necessary just a love for children and desire to help. Daily lunches will be provided by Camp Blue Sky and there is no fee to participate.

If you are interested in becoming a Camp Blue Sky Counselor please fill out the application below.

Questions regarding youth counselors may be directed to our counselor coordinator, Laura Beth Fisher at [email protected].
